A SENIOR Army officer is accused of impersonating a policeman to stop and search a woman he was allegedly stalking.
Lt Col Greg Blunden, 49, is said to have followed his young victim from her home after spying on her for three days.

The married father of two is then said to have patted her down in a bogus stop and search before fleeing when she challenged him loudly.
The Sandhurst-trained commander, who lives at MoD-owned family quarters in Uxbridge, West London, was charged with impersonating a police officer, assault and stalking last month.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Kingston crown court on September 15.
Before his arrest, Lt Col Blunden was working for Strategic Command, which oversees Britain’s Special Forces, including the SAS and SBS.
The rugby-loving former public schoolboy was nicknamed Bluffers by comrades.
One source said: “There is a palpable sense of shock among his colleagues over his arrest.
“He is a senior and respected officer and while he has never commanded his own regiment, he is regarded as trustworthy and reliable.”
