KUALA LUMPUR: Several localities in Sabah and Pahang will be placed under the enhanced movement control order from tomorrow.
Among them are Kampung Kuala Abai and Kampung Payas-Payas in Kota Belud, which will be under the enhanced MCO from Aug 19 to Sept 1, said National Security Council director-general Datuk Rodzi Md Saad.“The same goes for Beverly Hills Fasa 3 and Regency Park in Penampang, as well as Kampung Iburu and Kampung Meligan in Sipitang,” he said in a statement yesterday.
Taman Ria Height at Tawau, Baiduri Ayu Complex, Felda Sahabat 9 at Lahad Datu, and Moynod 1 Farm Housing in Beluran will also be placed under the enhanced MCO from Aug 19 to Sept 1.
In Pahang, Felda Jenderak Utara, Kuala Krau in Temerloh, and Ladang Selbourne, Mukim Gua in Lipis will also be placed under the enhanced MCO from Aug 19 to Sept 1.Rodzi said the enhanced MCO which was scheduled to end today in Felda Tersang 1, 2 and 3 and Mukim Batu Talam in Raub would be extended to Aug 25.
He added that the enhanced MCO in several localities in Pahang, Terengganu, Sabah and Kelantan would come to an end today.
“The enhanced MCO in Felda Krau 1, Mukim Gali in Raub, Taman Rakyat Bestari Fasa 1-4 and Low-Cost Public Housing 1 and 2 in Bukit Kuang, Mukim Telok Kalong, Kemaman, Terengganu as well as Mukim Manir in Kuala Terengganu, will end as scheduled on Aug 18.
“The enhanced MCO in Kampung Banjar, Keningau, Kem 3 Sibulu, Tenom as well as Penampang Baru at Penampang, and Depot Tahanan Imigresen Tawau, in Sabah will also end as scheduled on Aug 18,” Rodzi said.
He added that the enhanced MCO in Kampung Banggol Pak Esah, Mukim Bukit Abal, and Pasir Puteh in Kelantan which was scheduled to end on Aug 23, would end ahead of schedule today.
