A pedestrian was struck and killed Thursday night in Prince George’s County, the county police said.

       Lonell Fortune, 60, was struck about 8:30 p.m. while trying to cross Martin Luther King Jr. Highway at Glenarden Parkway in the Lanham area, the police said. Fortune died at the scene, according to police.

       The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene, the police said.
