TWO 12-year-old girls who disappeared after being dropped off at school have been found safe and well.

       Tanith Foster and Anna Gutkowska were last seen at the school gates on Imperial Avenue, in Leicester, at around 8am on Monday.

       They were reported missing by their worried families later that evening when they failed to return home.

       But they were found in the Huncote area on Tuesday evening.

       Leicestershire Police officers thanked everyone who shared their appeal and assisted with information.
