KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s adult vaccination rate for the fully inoculated has just crossed the 70% mark, whereas fully vaccinated teenagers have reached 27%.
Minister in charge of Covid-19 matters in Sabah, Datuk Masidi Manjun said this when announcing the state’s 707 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday (Oct 12).
However, at least six districts have yet to reach the 60% vaccination mark.
From the total new cases, 86% of the patients are categorised with stage two symptoms, he said.
Meanwhile, a total of 13 deaths were recorded as well, Masidi said.
He said from the new Covid-19 cases recorded, 19 districts saw a hike in cases while eight districts saw a drop in cases compared to Monday’s (Oct 11) numbers.
The average compliance of Covid-19 SOPs is at 97.5% statewide.
