TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Japan's Ikuma Horishima won his 10th career World Cup moguls skiing event and his second championship of the season Friday in Alpe d'Huez, France, with compatriot Daichi Hara runner-up, while Anri Kawamura took second in the women's competition.
Hara, who won a bronze medal at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, equaled his best career result on the circuit as he stood on the medals podium for the first time in three seasons. Canada's Mikael Kingsbury was third, in the season's fourth event, with Japan's Kosuke Sugimoto fourth.
Seventeen-year-old Kawamura reached the podium for the second time this season, finishing runner-up to Australia's Jakara Anthony.
