Beatrice is expecting her first child with her millionaire property tycoon husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The tot will get a special title when they are born - but not from Beatrice's grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.

       Edo is an Italian count therefore his children will all receive Italian titles.

       Speaking to the Daily Mail, Edo's father Count Allessandro Mapelli Mozzi said: “Edoardo is the only male descendent taking the family into the next generation.

       “He is a count, his wife will be a countess automatically and any of their children will be counts or nobile donna.”

       Beatrice and Edo are expecting their baby in the autumn.

       Buckingham Palace announced the Princess's pregnancy in May.

       The palace said the couple were "very pleased" to be welcoming their first child.

       "The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news," the palace added.

       Beatrice is already stepmother to Mr Mapelli Mozzi's young son Wolfie, from his previous relationship with his ex-fiancee Dara Huang.

       The pregnant royal showed off her growing baby bump during an appearance at Wimbledon last month.

       Beatrice and Edo married last year in a secret lockdown wedding after their planned ceremony was postponed due to the pandemic.

       They tied the knot at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge in Windsor.

       At the time, Buckingham Palace said: "The couple decided to hold a small private ceremony with their parents and siblings following the postponement of their wedding in May.

       "Working within Government guidelines, the service was in keeping with the unique circumstances while enabling them to celebrate their wedding with their closest family."

       Beatrice and Edo's families have known one another for years and they began dating in autumn 2018 after meeting again at Princess Eugenie’s royal wedding.

       They went on to announce their engagement in September 2019 following a whirlwind romance, with Edo proposing during a trip to Italy.

       Beatrice's younger sister Eugenie gave birth to her first child, August, earlier this year.

       The siblings will be delighted to have their children so close together in age and to share the experience of being first-time mothers.
