The Des Plaines Fire Department transported Jara-Antemante, who suffered several stab wounds, to a local hospital, where he later died, authorities said.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office ruled Jara-Antemante’s death a homicide, caused by several sharp-force injuries.
Police said they identified Solorio as a person of interest through several witness accounts along with surveillance footage. Solorio is awaiting a detention hearing.
