THIS is the moment a shameless cyclist takes a parcel containing clothes for a Christmas present from a woman's doorstep.

       DHL delivered the parcel to the Iren Dexter's home in Chaddesden, but it vanished from the driveway.

       Iren says that the parcel contained a beanie hat from Italian luxury designer brand Moncler which cost her ￡150.

       The hat was going to be a Christmas present for her husband.

       She told Derbyshire Live: "It was hidden at the front door for four

       hours but unfortunately, it was taken."

       Iren said that in the morning she was running late for work and signed for the parcel, but left it hidden and so is unable to claim on her insurance.

       She has reported the incident to the police.

       The footage shows the man arrive at the home's Ring doorbell, which has a built-in camera.

       He can be seen approaching the house on a bicycle and pulling out a carrier bag out of his pocket before taking the parcel and cycling off.

       According to the footage, he arrived at the property at 2:41pm on Monday, November 29, before making a swift exit towards the A52.

       The man has a beard and is seen wearing a black waterproof jacket and grey trousers.

       He is also wearing a black hat.

       Police guidance on parcel theft recommends tracking parcels when you

       can.

       Residents should also install a CCTV doorbell that is connected to their

       mobile phone and secure a security light to the front door.

       Police also suggest using an off-sight locker service for frequent deliveries

       and arranging for a parcel to be delivered to a trusted neighbour or

       family member if you aren't in.
