HONG Kong actor Carlos Chan says he has had a ghostly encounter while promoting a horror film in Malaysia a few years ago, China Press reported.
The 35-year-old said the incident happened in a hotel room.
Chan said he decided to sleep in his assistant’s room after his hotel access card didn’t work.
“When I was falling asleep, I could hear other colleagues chatting at the door. Suddenly, I felt something heavy stepping on the bed.“However, it could not have been my assistant as he was not there,” Chan told reporters during a photo exhibition of the police flick, Raging Fire, recently.
He said he became terrified when he heard the sound of footsteps followed by someone yelling: “Wake up!”
However, despite being conscious, Chan said he was unable to move or open his eyes.
“I’m tired and just want to sleep for a bit! I’m sorry,” he remembered telling the unseen entity.
It was earlier reported that Hong Kong actress Jessica Kan Shuk Yi also had a spooky encounter while filming the 2017 movie Ghost Net in Malaysia with Chan.
The two actors, along with the crew, had reportedly felt uneasy during filming at an abandoned building where some claimed they saw a rocking chair move by itself.
