A pedestrian was fatally injured in Prince George’s County on Monday night in a hit-and-run incident, the county police said.

       A woman was trying to cross Medical Center Drive at Shoppers Way in the Largo area, about 6:55 p.m. when she was struck by a vehicle that did not remain at the scene, according to police.

       They said she died at a hospital. An investigation is underway.

       The death appeared to be the third traffic fatality in the county within about two hours.
