PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob broke fast with local media practitioners, including chief editors from prominent publications, at his official residence at Seri Perdana here.

       Around 700 guests from various media agencies, including the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama), Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM), Media Prima, New Straits Times Press, The Star, Sin Chew Daily and Kwong Wah Yit Poh Press, attended the event on Sunday (April 24).

       Bernama chairman Senator Datuk Ras Adiba Radzi, Bernama acting chief executive officer Roslan Ariffin, Bernama editor-in-chief Khairdzir Md Yunus and editors were also present.

       In addition, 95 special guests of the Prime Minister’s Office from Keluarga Malaysia Foundation and the Raudhatul Al-Faeez House for Orphans and Asnaf were feted at the function.

       Ismail Sabri then performed congregational Magrib, Isyak and Terawih prayers together with all the attendees. - Bernama
