MELAKA: Barisan Nasional is expected to announce its manifesto for the Melaka state polls this Wednesday (Nov 10), says Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh.
The Melaka Barisan chairman said that it would include plans and framework to provide stability and prosperity to the people in the state.
"The manifesto will be launched virtually on Nov 10 and we shall wait and see the content and what are the approaches," he told a press conference here in Masjid Tanah on Monday (Nov 8).
Rauf will be contesting in a three-cornered fight against Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia’s Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin and a candidate from Pakatan Harapan.
Rauf said the manifesto would ensure prosperity and sustainability, not only for those in Masjid Tanah, but for the whole state.
Barisan fielded candidates in all 28 seats and would go solo in the state polls on Nov 20.
A total of 28 state seats will be contested, with early voting on Nov 16.
