The Duchess of Sussex, 40, has appeared in a recent online video reading her children's book, The Bench. In the Brightly Storytime clip, Meghan is wearing a low-key outfit of a pair of jeans and an elegant white shirt. Following the online reading by the Duchess of Sussex, royal commentator Neil Sean said he believes "the biggest problem for Meghan and her advisers is how do they make her relatable to the people that they want to buy the book?"

Mr Sean said on his YouTube channel: "That is the tricky bit.

"Now this particular interview on YouTube saw Meghan looking wonderful, basking in wonderful sunlight.

"But of course it was drawn to the fact that she was wearing a lot of expensive jewellery and an expensive watch.

"If you're trying to sell a book to children, that's not really relatable.

"Now what we can tell you, is that they're going to be rebranding Meghan as something of a more warm and comfy, open, relatable author.

"We're not quite sure exactly what their plans are.

"But, The Bench isn't the only children's book that she has up her sleeve, apparently there are more."

In the online reading, the Duchess of Sussex stated how she wrote the children's story for her 37-year-old husband, Prince Harry, and their two-year-old son, Archie.

She said: “I wrote this as a poem for my husband and our son, Archie, and then turned it into a book so you can enjoy it too."

Meghan also talked about the drawings in the book by illustrator Christian Robinson.

She said: “I asked him to do something special for me and use watercolours, which isn’t the usual medium he works in, but he did it to make this extra special.

“I hope you love the pictures as much as you love the words.”

The Duchess of Sussex added: "Christian layered in beautiful and ethereal watercolour illustrations that capture the warmth, joy, and comfort of the relationship between fathers and sons from all walks of life.

"This representation was particularly important to me.

"Christian and I worked closely to depict this special bond through an inclusive lens.

"My hope is that The Bench resonates with every family, no matter the makeup, as much as it does with mine.”
