Harry was spotted with what appeared to be a microphone during the couple’s three day trip to the Big Apple last week. A black wire was visible running from the Duke of Sussex’s pocket up to his shirt, which could signify that he and his wife Meghan Markle were recording content for their multi-million-pound deals with Netflix and Spotify.
Royal fans spotted the wire when Harry went to hug Melba restaurant owner Melba Wilson on Friday, September 24.
The occasion doesn’t mark the only time the wire was apparent though, as fans also spotted the wire being visible during the couple’s visit to a school in Harlem.
During the visit, Meghan read her book The Bench to schoolchildren which Harry sat among for the reading.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were also witnessed with their own videographer on their city tour - and the camera operator was seen running ahead of them as they stepped out before a tour of the 9/11 Memorial on Thursday morning.
Sources close to the couple have said that the Sussexes have also been collecting footage for the archives of their Archewell foundation.
It comes following the news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a £112million deal with Netflix last year after quitting the Royal Family.
So far, in their partnership with the production company, the only projects to be announced are a documentary on Harry’s passion project, the Invictus Games and also an animated series, with the working title “Pearl” which Meghan has teamed up with Sir Elton John’s husband, producer David Furnish for.
