Prince Harry and Prince William 'unlikely' to end rift before royal reunion next year

The once-close brothers have been at the centre of an ongoing rift. But Nick Bullen, founder and editor-in-chief of True Royalty TV, claimed the relationship between William and Harry is "still pretty difficult".

He added that the warring siblings have "no reason" to reunite in public until the Queen's Platinum Jubilee next year.

Mr Bullen told Fox News: "I think it’s very unlikely that we’ll see any resolution between the brothers very soon.

"Everything I’m told is that it is still pretty difficult for them.

"Obviously, they’ve spoken and spent time with their mother’s family.

"That was all good and a step forward in the right direction.

"But there’s no real reason for them to be back together publicly until Jubilee next year."

Harry, who quit royal duties with Meghan Markle last year for a new life in America, reunited with William in public for the first time since Megxit for Prince Philip's funeral in April.

The brothers also put their differences aside for the unveiling of a statue dedicated to their late mother Princess Diana at Kensington Palace in July.

Much attention was on the pair at the event, which was also attended by Diana's siblings.

Speaking at the time, royal author Penny Junor said Harry and William put on a "very good show".

Ms Junor said: "I think the brothers put on a very, very good show.

The Queen deserves utmost respect: Nothing else [COMMENT]

"I was expecting to see some sort of tight lips and some jaw muscles which we saw at the Commonwealth service in Westminster Abbey before Harry and Meghan left.

"They seemed to be reasonably relaxed with one another.

"They weren't arms around each other, it wasn't very touchy and there wasn't, perhaps, the usual banter of times gone by.

"But had you not known there was a serious problem between the two of them, you wouldn't necessarily have picked it up."

Harry laid bare his rift with his older brother during his and Meghan's explosive Oprah Winfrey interview in March.

He said: "The relationship is 'space' at the moment. And time heals all things, hopefully."

The statue unveiling was only the second time Harry has returned to the UK since moving to California.
