A FIRE has ripped through a mansion on one of the UK’s most expensive streets where grand homes sell for £13million.
The derelict house now lies in ruins after it was gutted by the blaze which started on the road known as ‘Billionaires’ Row’ at around 12.40am on Friday.

Around 70 firefighters tackled the fire which engulfed the multi-million-pound property on The Bishops Avenue in Barnet, London.
The fire raged for nearly three hours before being brought under control by the London Fire Brigade at around 3.30am.
The Sun Online’s exclusive pictures reveal the three-storey mansion was completely wrecked with the roof destroyed and the ground and first floor also extensively damaged.
The fire was so intense it sent thick smoke billowing into the air which could be seen and smelt in central London.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
Locals in the area were warned to keep their doors and windows shut due to the amount of smoke.
The Bishops Avenue which runs from the north side of Hampstead Heath to East Finchley is one of the country’s wealthiest.
Palatial properties can sell for around £13m and attract wealthy owners including the Sultan of Brunei.

Singer Harry Styles, who earlier this year swept the board at the Brits, is a tenant there.
However, locals who have lived in the area for some time have previously said they are being pushed out of the area.
Athena Norman, 67, has lived in East Finchley all her life and has seen the area transform from being “proper working class” to a place that costs lots of money to live.
Now, she says, even more modest houses around the park sell for around £2m as “a lot more lawyers are moving in”.
The house featured in the BBC’s The Apprentice is also on the street.
The property where the hopefuls stay is the luxurious mansion called Huxley House and is worth £17.5m.
It was put up for sale earlier this year with posh estate agents Sotheby’s and will no doubt attract deep-pocketed buyers who are able to afford the hefty price tag.
It's not known who owns Huxley House, but Billionaires’ Row, which has 66 mansions, is home to some of the world’s richest people.

The Saudi royal family sold ten properties along the street for £73million, while the Sultan of Brunei is thought to own at least one house there.
Beatle Paul McCartney’s ex Heather Mills lived in an apartment in one of the houses.
