A man was fatally stabbed in a parking lot in the Hillcrest Heights area in Maryland.

       The incident happened around 9:50 p.m. Thursday in the 3200 block of Naylor Road near the Suitland Parkway and the Maryland-D.C. border.

       When Prince George’s County police arrived, they found the man suffering from a stab wound, officials said.

       He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name was not released, pending the notification of his family.

       Police said the case remains under investigation. Detectives are working to determine a motive and find a suspect or suspects.
