PETALING JAYA: A number of localities in Pahang, Kelantan, Sabah and Sarawak will be placed under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from Saturday (Aug 14).

       Senior Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said in Keningau, Sabah, factory and workers' quarters at Bumi Timber Sdn Bhd, Batu 27, Jalan Sook as well as Perusahaan Kosinar Sdn Bhd and its workers' quarters at Batu 28, Jalan Sook would be placed under EMCO from Aug 14 to 27.

       "Meanwhile, Taman Puri Warisan in Kota Kinabalu, Kampung Pengiran, Sipitang, and Kampung Wokok Kinuta, Kota Belud in Sabah would also be placed under EMCO for the same period.

       "In Kelantan, four villages at Alor Pasir (Kampung Chenerai, Kampung Lubok Kawah, Kampung Pohon Tanjong and Kampung Pak Jak) as well as Kampung Landar at Kubang Gadong as well as Kampung Kubang Sawa, Tumpat would also be placed under the EMCO from Aug 14 to 27," he said in a statement on Thursday (Aug 12).

       In Pahang, Hishammuddin said Kampung Bongkok in Bera and Kampung Gadak in Rompin would be placed under EMCO from Aug 14 to 27 while the Sri Datai Mining Sdn Bhd workers' quarters in Mukah, Sarawak would also be placed under EMCO for the same period.

       "Meanwhile the EMCO at Taman Desa Bidara, Kuala Ketil, Kedah which was scheduled to end on Aug 13 is extended to Aug 27.

       "The same goes for Amber Court Apartment and Grand Ion Delemon Construction Site in Genting Highlands, Kampung Wek Batu 23, Labok, Kelantan and Kampung Gambaron 2, Telupid, Sabah," he said.
