The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expected to attend the Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall, London, this evening. The televised variety show raises money for the Royal Variety Charity.
The performance this year celebrates 100 years of Patronage from the reigning monarch, which began with King George V in 1921, and also marks the 150th anniversary of the Royal Albert Hall.
William and Kate, both 39, will enjoy performances from musical stars including Ed Sheeran, Sir Rod Stewart and Years & Years, and the cast of Matilda the Musical.
The couple’s appearance at tonight’s event comes as Meghan's interview with US chat show with Ellen DeGeneres is aired in the US.
A preview of the interview shows the Duchess of Sussex, 40, speaking about her life before her marriage to Prince Harry.
In the preview clip, the mother-of-two explains how she would travel to where the set of the Ellen Show is based to audition for parts when she worked as an actress.
She recalled: "I would park on gate three and I would scoot on over and the security guards here would always say 'break a leg, I hope you get it'. So driving today was very different."
