Priti Patel was heckled by eco-protesters as she arrived at an event today.
The former home secretary was targeted by a small group with one woman shouting at her while filming on her phone.
But Ms Patel, who was wearing sunglasses, remained calm throughout the onslaught as she waited for a lift with an aide.
The woman shouted: "What are you going to do to protect the people of this country against the climate crisis when there is literally climate breakdown happening?
"Indefensible, you should be ashamed of yourself and ashamed of the Conservative Government.

"People can't afford to heat their homes or feed their families and you're handing out new oil and gas licences to fill the pockets of yourselves and the oil and the gas giants.
"I'm not going to calm down when people are dying across the world right now, and she shouldn't either.
"As a representative of the people of this company, disgraceful."
Ms Patel was speaking at the event on policing by the Policy Exchange think tank.

It comes after a Government bid to maximise North Sea oil and gas production cleared its first Commons test earlier this week.
The Offshore Petroleum Licensing Bill would require the industry regulator to run annual rounds for new oil and gas licences, subject to stringent new emissions and imports tests.
But the legislation has been criticised by green campaigners.
