Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Henry Sum Agong (pic) said the Ministry was very committed in executing the plans towards this goal, guided by the 12th Malaysia Plan and the National Transport Policy.
“In implementing those goals, the National Logistics Task Force (NLTF) and four Cluster Working Groups (CWG) have been established to monitor the implementation of the initiatives that will support the development of the country's logistics sector,” said Henry.
He added that the main objective of the establishment of the NLTF is to ensure the seamless movement of goods through better connectivity.
“The efficiency of the transportation system is also important in driving development and growth of the logistics sector,” said Henry during the Question-and-Answer session in the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday (Mar 24).
