PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob (pic) extended National Youth Day greetings to all youths in the country in a special address at noon on Sunday (May 15).
He said the involvement and contribution of the youth was necessary to strengthen the spirit of the Malaysian Family.
"The increasing participation of young people in national politics is a positive sign and should be further developed," he said.
He added that the National Youth Economic Empowerment Plan was drafted to further strengthen their role in the country's development.
In his speech, he also confirmed that the Podium Programme for national athletes would be continued until 2025, with an allocation of RM249mil over the four-year period.
