Two people were pronounced dead on the scene after a vehicle struck a pole and caught fire in the Glenn Dale area early Saturday, Prince George’s County police said.

       Police have not named the victims, but said they were traveling in the 12200 block of Annapolis Road near Fairwood Parkway at about 2:40 a.m. when the crash occurred.

       The cause of the crash is under investigation, police said.
