KUALA LUMPUR: Activist Adam Adli Abdul Halim has been questioned over the planned #TangkapAzamBaki rally on Saturday (Jan 22).
Adam Adli, accompanied by his lawyer Syahredzan Johan, arrived at the Dang Wangi police station at around 2.30pm on Thursday (Jan 20).
They exited the police station at 3.10pm.
Speaking to the press outside, Adam Adli said Saturday’s rally would proceed as planned.
“This is normal. Previously, the police have also called in organisers of rallies to give their statements. The case is being investigated. We will cooperate fully,” he said.
The activist said they were not informed of additional statements required by the police.
“The police mainly asked about matters related to organising the rally and not so much on the planned protest itself,” he said.
