KOTA KINABALU:New Covid-19 cases in the state dropped significantly on Saturday (June 11) to 38 infections from 87 previously.
State Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the decline was due to less patients' samples to test.
He said Kota Kinabalu registered 18 cases, lower than 30 the day before, while Penampang saw a reduction from 27 to six cases.
"The situation has improved overall with 19 districts not recording any new cases in the last 24 hours, compared to 15 districts previously," he said.
