Princess Beatrice and her younger sister Princess Eugenie have been praised by two royal commentators for their "so normal" appearance. Whilst the Princesses are in the spotlight, they do not have to suffer the same media obsession as Meghan Markle and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, allowing them and their partners to have more freedom.

       Princess Beatrice recently celebrated her first wedding anniversary with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

       On July 17, the property tycoon shared an image of the couple on Instagram, writing: "I can't believe it has been 1 year. Every second of every day since has been so full of joy, happiness, laughter, and love.

       "You are the kindest, loveliest, and most beautiful person in the world. Thank you my darling for every second."

       Royally Us host Joe Drake praised the couple for their open display of affection.

       He said: "I love them - this picture is so cute and normal.

       "If I had to be a royal, I think I'm picking Beatrice and Eugenie all day every day.

       "They're in the spotlight but they're clearly not what William and Harry have to go through."

       Princess Beatrice is currently expecting her first child with her husband. Buckingham Palace announced the pregnancy in May, with the baby due to arrive later this autumn.

       The couple married last July in an intimate, secret ceremony that was subject to Covid-19 social distancing rules.

       Only 20 close friends and family members attended the service, with both the Queen and the late Duke of Edinburgh posing for photographs with the newlyweds.

       Princess Beatrice had worn her grandmother's vintage Norman Hartnell dress accompanied by the Queen Mary Fringe Tiara that was lent to her from the Royal Collection.

       Her younger sister, Princess Eugenie, married long-term partner Jack Brooksbank in 2018 in a service at St George's Chapel.

       The couple welcomed their first child, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, in February.

       Whilst the Duke of York's two daughters were heavily scrutinised by the media during their youth and twenties, they are now both focused on their careers and family.

       Princess Beatrice is the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at software company Afiniti, whilst Princess Eugenie is an Associate Art Director at the Hauser & Wirth gallery.

       Neither are working members of the Royal Family and they do not receive any income from the Sovereign Grant.
