PETALING JAYA: Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) said group chief financial officer (GCFO) Datuk Amirul Feisal Wan Zahir (pic) is leaving to take up the managing director post at a government linked institution.
Feisal tendered his resignation yesterday, which will take effect on July 15.
Maybank said in a statement it has commenced the process of identifying and selecting the new GCFO, in line with its existing succession plan.
In the interim, Maybank has appointed Khalijah Ismail, the current group financial controller as acting GCFO to oversee the group finance functions. Khalijah joined Maybank in 1991 and has extensive experience having served in various lead roles within the group.
