GEORGE TOWN: The Jelutong parliamentary service centre will be temporarily closed after an officer there tested positive for Covid-19.

       Jelutong MP RSN Rayer said that one of the officers at the service centre tested positive for Covid-19 using an RTK-antigen test.

       "Those who have been in close contact with the officer have been encouraged by the Health Ministry to carry out self-quarantine until further results are obtained.

       "Because of this, the service centre will be temporarily closed from Aug 27 until further notice," the DAP lawmaker said in a Facebook post Thursday (Aug 26).
