JOHOR BARU: A technical glitch at the launch of Parti Warisan here has further fuelled speculation that former Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia member Mazlan Bujang is joining the party.

       Mazlan’s picture appeared briefly on the big screen behind the stage when state Warisan chief coordinator Suhaimi Salleh, the former Tanjung Piai Umno division deputy chief, was about to give his speech at a restaurant in Taman Sutera on Tuesday (Feb 15) night.

       Instead of showing Suhaimi's picture, the photo of Mazlan, the incumbent Puteri Wangsa assemblyman, appeared for a few seconds before it was replaced the with the correct image.

       On Jan 27, Mazlan, the former Tebrau Bersatu chief and former state education, information, heritage and culture committee chairman announced his exit from the party.

       This came days after the state assembly was dissolved on Jan 22.
