DESPITE the embarrassment caused by her unfortunate tumble on stage while performing, singer Nabila Razali (pic) is taking the crushing episode in her stride, Harian Metro reported.

The 29-year-old known for the hit song Peluang Kedua saw the positive in the incident which has since gone viral, saying she was pleased to be able to entertain.

“I was very embarrassed by the fall, besides being hurt by it.

“Thankfully, despite the tumble that time, I was able to continue singing till the end and the audience was entertained.

“I am not sure why I lost my footing. Undeniably, my heels were quite high, but in the past, I have been able to perform without problems,” she added.

The incident occurred during a New Year’s Eve celebration at Menara Kuala Lumpur, where Nabila was part of the performance line-up.

A video recording of the fall was posted on Instagram and has gone viral, with many on social media praising Nabila for continuing with her performance.

       > A family lunch in Tampin, Negri Sembilan ended in ruins after a landslide wreaked havoc on a house in Kampung Jeram, Sri Rempah.

Rosidah Jamian, 41, was sitting at the dining table with her son and nephew when they heard a loud, crumbling noise.

“We panicked and ran out of the house in the rain. The landslide hit the kitchen of the house, damaging it badly. We could have been hurt or trapped if we had not fled in time,” she told Kosmo!.

Rosidah’s family was one of nine recipients of assistance from Tunku Besar Tampin, Tunku Syed Razman Tunku Syed Idrus Al-Qadri.

The nine families were displaced due to the floods and have been staying at the SK Keru temporary evacuation centre.

Tampin disaster management committee chairman Suhaiza Jaharudin said the cost to repair the damage to the cliff structure in the area was around RM350,000.

“Despite the high costs, there is a risk of landslide incidents happening again, so we must come up with a solution,” said Suhaiza.
