PUTRAJAYA: Two localities in Pahang and one in Sabah will be placed under the enhanced movement control order (MCO) with effect from Saturday (Sept 25).
Kampung Telimau in Pos Terisu and Pasdec Damansara in Kuantan, Pahang will be affected by the order.
In Sabah, the enhanced MCO will be placed on Kampung Pangkalan Abai in Kota Belud.
The orders will take effect for 14 days until Oct 8, said the National Security Council (NSC).
The NSC also announced that the lockdown on several localities in Terengganu, Sabah and Pahang will be lifted on Friday (Sept 24) as scheduled.
In Terengganu, seven localities in the district of Dungun will have the order lifted: Paka Town, Gong Gemia, Cacar Baru, Limbong, Kuala Paka, Taman Indah Permai and Telaga Mas,
In Sabah, the enhanced MCO placed on Kampung Lembah Permai and Kampung Desa Aman in Ranau, Taman Sungai Labuk in Beluran, Henry Gurney School in Keningau and Kampung Timug in Kudat will be lifted on Friday.
Also to be lifted is the lockdown on Kampung Kuala Koyan in Lipis, Pahang, the NSC said.
