The Duke of Sussex made a brief appearance in the Duchess’ promotional video for her 40x40 initiative. However, he was initially unsure about the impromptu cameo which sees him juggling three balls in the garden as her wife takes part in a video call.
Actress Melissa McCarthy, who is seen in the clip discussing the campaign with Meghan, explained Harry’s thoughts ahead of the filming.
She told Access Hollywood: “She's [Meghan Markle] doing such an amazing thing to celebrate her 40th.
“I just love that she is like, 'Oh, what can I do to put some good and help some people out?' Well that is awfully nice.
"Then in comes Harry and he's like, ‘I can juggle’... Then he's like, 'Is it going to be weird if I stand outside and juggle?'
"I was like, ‘Weird in a way that will make me watch it five million times!’”
Ms McCarthy heaped praise on the Sussexes’ and how they are “carving out” their new lifestyle.
She said: “They were so sweet and funny. I just find them very inspiring.
“They're carving out their own lives. They're carving out their lives for their kids.”
Meghan’s new initiative, launched via the couple’s Archewell website, aims to help support women to returning to the workplace after the pandemic.
