A TIKTOKER has shared how she was forced to walk home in Primark shoes after her ￡685 trainers were nicked while she was ice skating.

       The young woman said she was left "mortified" after her black Balenciaga trainers were stolen during her visit to Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland.

       The popular London attraction told MyLondon they are investigating the incident.

       The woman shared the incident on TikTok under the handle @sev_xx and captioned it "go winter wonderland at your own risk. still never got them back duet this if you got my balenciags".

       The clip starts with a snap of her at the popular London attraction wearing the trainers, saying: "I came here with these shoes."

       She then shows a clip of the counter where she left her shoes and got ice skates.

       "We went ice skating, gave my shoes there," she says.

       "And this is what I'm leaving with," she says showing a pair of new black trainers from Primark.

       "￡600 gone down the drain."

       Most social media users were sympathetic towards the woman with one of them saying: "I wouldn’t be leaving till I got my shoes or money for them."

       Another one commented: "The company should be buying you a new pair, you left your property in their care, it’s their responsibility!"

       While another one said: "Omg this happened to us one year! They stole my friends Uggs , we refused to leave and I demanded to see CCTV all of sudden they found them."

       However, others did not defend her with one saying: "Your ￡600 went down the drain the second you bought them."

       A Hyde Park Winter Wonderland spokesman said: "We are investigating an isolated incident of alleged theft at the Ice Rink. We are speaking with the visitor and have recommended she escalate this matter to the police.

       "We take any allegations of theft seriously and will work with the relevant authorities to resolve this issue.

       "Items at the Ice Rink are never left unattended, and Hyde Park Winter Wonderland has strict lost property procedures.

       "Our lost property department works hard to return any lost items to the public, and at the end of the event, any high-value items that remain are turned over to the police."
