PETALING JAYA: AWC Bhd’s subsidiary, Ambang Wira Sdn Bhd, has secured a five-year contract worth RM12.72mil to provide hospital support services to Hospital Orang Asli Gombak.

       In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said it had received the letter of acceptance for the contract from the Health Ministry.

       The contract will commence from Jan 1, 2022 to Dec 31, 2026.

       It is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the AWC group throughout the duration.

       It added that the board of directors of the company is of the opinion that the contract is in the ordinary course of business and in the best interest of AWC.
