Four people were shot and seriously injured Friday night in the Chatham neighborhood on the city’s South Side.
It happened about 8:50 p.m. in the 7900 block of Cottage Grove Avenue, said Chicago fire Chief Walter Schroeder.
All four adults were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in serious condition, Schroeder said.
Schroeder did not immediately have the adults’ sex, age or other information.
