A MUM has been left fuming after her 12-year-old daughter's school excluded her from its Christmas party over missing homework.

And one mum, who chose not to be named, has now labelled the school Ebenezer Scrooge for its anti-festive stance.
Only the top 50 students of each year group - made up of 150 kids each - were granted access to "reward events".
But the strict criteria - 95 per cent attendance and no detentions - left hundreds out.
The school said some 300 students did meet the threshold for entry.

Years 7 and 8 were rewarded with a disco, Years 9 and 10 with a night of ten-pin bowling and Year 11s had a party.
But the mum told how her child - who has 100 per cent attendance -wasn't allowed to go to the disco because she "missed homework".
She told the Lancashire Telegraph: "My daughter tells me only the ‘best’ 50 children from each year group were invited and I think there’s around 120 in each year group.
“She was extremely upset that her friends were excitedly taking about it and she wasn’t invited and is blaming herself."

She blasted the school for labelling children as "not good enough" and labelled the policy "divisive".
An email sent out to parents earlier this month read: “This year we are holding reward events which all students who meet the criteria for the fantastic award (consistently displaying positive attitudes to learning and behaviour represented through no C3+ [detention or worse] and consistently high attendance represented by achieving 95 per cent +) will be invited to."
St Wilfrid's assistant principal, Nathan Ashman, said: “In response to student voice requests for more rewards and incentives, we have over 300 Key Stage 3 students that have met the points criteria for the fantastic award and have been eligible for an additional end of term reward trip or treat.
“We presented many more certificates to celebrate our students' high attendance, academic excellence, academic endeavour, and academy service to students across the academy.
“At the end of term, Students at St Wilfrid's Church of England Academy, have also taken part in the annual nine lessons and carols service, a Christmas jumper day, Christmas lunch, celebrations assemblies and we are looking forward to our traditional house pantomimes on Thursday.
“We appreciate that this is a challenging time of year for many families and during our December month of hope, the school community has packed and delivered 50 hampers to local families, written positive messages of hope, and collected and contributed thousands of items to our local food bank.
“We are extremely proud of all that our students have achieved and have enjoyed celebrating their success.”
