More malls in Malaysia facing permanent closure due to Covid-19 lockdown

       KUALA LUMPUR - Fashion store owner Adilah Khairudin was thrilled when the Malaysian government announced that more economic sectors would be allowed to reopen in August.

       During the partial lockdown that barred non-essential businesses from operating due to the pandemic, Madam Adilah had no choice but to close one of her two boutiques permanently. She sells Malay traditional wear in Subang Jaya township in Selangor.
