KUALA LUMPUR: Jentayu Sustainables Bhd has appointed Datuk Masnah Matsalleh as an independent non-executive director.
Masnah, 62, graduated with a Master Degree in Business Administration from Edith Cowan University, Australia, and has 39 years of experience in the Sabah State Civil Service.
She served in various senior capacities including as head assistant secretary, Sabah State Ministry of Infrastructure Development, deputy under secretary of the budget division, Sabah State Ministry of Finance, Director of Sabah State Women’s Affairs Department, Permanent
Secretary of Sabah State Ministry of Local Government & Housing and as Deputy State Secretary (Administration) prior to her retirement on Dec 31, 2021.
Masnah is currently a non-independent director of Saham Sabah Bhd and Borneo Samudera Sdn Bhd She is also the chairman of Majlis Ugama Islam Sabah (MUIS) Higher Education Bursary Committee for the period 2022-2024. For her vast experience in leading organisations, Akademi Kepimpinan Wanita Sabah under the Women’s Affairs Department has invited her to give multiple talks on leadership skills and corporate governance.
She is the vice president of the Sabah Brunei Society Association and sits on the Board of Trustees for Yayasan Kebajikan Sabah and Yayasan Dangsanak.
