KUALA LUMPUR: Over RM100,000 in fines were issued to customers and workers at a nightclub here.
Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Idzam Jaafar said that they riaided the Cheras Business Centre at 12.10am on Saturday (March 5).
"Checks there led to the arrest of four men, three foreigners and a local aged from 27 to 42.
"The arrests were for operating an unlicensed business, selling alcohol without a valid license, hiring undocumented foreigners and working without valid permits.
"The police also issued compounds to 121 people for going against the Covid-19 rules," he said in a statement on Saturday.
Several pieces of equipment were also seized, including an amplifier and loudspeakers.
