KUALA LUMPUR: A concert organiser was issued an RM1,000 compound notice for violating Covid-19 standard operating procedures.
Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Idzam Jaafar said that the police was made aware of a 16-second video showing a concert held during the Absolut Food Festival at the compound of the Astro headquarters in Bukit Jalil recently.
"We discovered that the concert was held not in accordance with the Covid-19 SOP as there was a lack of physical distancing among the concert-goers. We issued an RM1,000 compound notice to the concert organiser," he said in a statement on Wednesday (March 30).
He advised the public to adhere to Covid-19 SOP.
"We will not compromise in taking action against anyone who failed to comply with the SOP," he added.
