A friend of Meghan Markle's once bizarrely claimed it was "shady" of Princess Kate to miss out on celebrating Princess Lilibet's first birthday in June 2022, when the whole Sussex family was in the UK for the Platinum Jubilee.
Garcelle Beauvais, star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills who also received a jar of Meghan's sought-after strawberry jam, previously shared her thoughts on the royal feud between the Firm and the Sussexes.

She criticised Kate and Prince William for missing their niece's birthday celebrations at Frogmore Cottage two years ago, even though they were actually in Wales representing the late Queen Elizabeth by overseeing concert rehearsals at Cardff Castle.
It was also a big occasion for the Wales family themselves, as their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined them for their first ever official royal walkabout.
However this did not wash with Ms Beauvais, as she told E! at the time it was "shady", adding: "What's going on is, 'What a coincidence, we're out of town, I'm washing my hair'. There's a little shade there."

The Duchess of Sussex has long been a fan of the Real Housewives franchise, admitting her love for the show to executive producer Andy Cohen on her podcast Archetypes.
She first met Garcelle Beauvais in November last year when they both attended Variety's Women in Power gala, where the reality star gushed over Meghan.
She asked the Duchess for a selfie and later excitedly bragged: "I took a picture with Meghan Markle, so I can die now."

Meghan Markle appears to have confirmed that she will not join Prince Harry in the UK for the 10th anniversary Invictus Games service at St Paul's Cathedral on May 8.
While it is not known exactly how long the Duke will be in London for, King Charles will likely make time to see his son if it does not clash with his schedule.
Harry and Meghan will later be reunited for their own visit to Nigeria, after they were invited by the West African country's Defence Office at the Invictus Games in Germany last September.
