REMBAU: A couple was killed after their motorcycle collided with a car at KM5.6 Jalan Pedas-Linggi near here.

       A. Munisamy, 70 and L. Annapurni, 65 died on the spot in the 8am accident due to serious head injuries.

       Rembau OCPD Deputy Supt Hazri Mohamad said the couple from Taman Koperasi in Pedas was believed to have been heading towards Kundur when the accident happened.

       He said their motorcycle collided with an oncoming car driven by a 36-year-old woman.

       Their remains have been sent to the Rembau Hosp[iotal for post-mortem.

       The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death due to reckless driving.
