A driver died after going off the road and crashing into a building in Damascus, Md.

       Montgomery County police said the crash happened around 11 p.m. Sunday in the 9900 block of Main Street when the driver went off the road, striking a dumpster and then a building. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

       The driver was not immediately identified by authorities, pending the notification of family. Police said the crash remained under investigation.
