KULAI: A video showing a fleet of supercars stopping at KM34 of the North-South Expressway near Sedenak here was related to an incident between a pickup truck and a Lamborghini.
Kulai OCPD Supt Tok Beng Yeow confirmed that a police report had been lodged over the incident.
“The incident took place around 6.10pm on Friday, when a Ford Ranger hit a Lamborghini.
“The pickup truck driver was driving dangerously and hit the Lamborghini,” he said in a statement yesterday.
Supt Tok said this led to a scuffle between the two drivers before the whole convoy of luxury cars decided to stop in the middle of the road.
When asked if the pickup driver was intoxicated during the incident, he said police were still investigating the matter.
The case was being investigated under Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting and Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for driving recklessly and dangerously.
There was also another 20-second video showing the white truck tailing the supercars before colliding with one of them.
