KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein aims to do his best after he was appointed once again to helm the Defence Ministry.
Hishammuddin said he was grateful for the trust given by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob in appointing him as the Defence Minister.
"I am honoured to serve all those in the Armed Forces, whose contributions to the country are priceless. Insyallah, will do my utmost best in my capacity as the Defence Minister," he said in a Facebook post on Friday (Aug 27).
Earlier, Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced his Cabinet line-up, a day after Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah granted him an audience at Istana Abdulaziz in Kuantan.
The Cabinet line-up will continue to have four senior ministers, but with no Deputy Prime Minister.
The senior ministers are Datuk Seri Azmin Ali (International Trade and Industry), Hishammuddin (Defence), Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof (Works), and Datuk Seri Radzi Jidin (Education).
