Nigel Farage responds to Badenoch’s ‘fraudster’ claims
Reform UK could take legal action against Kemi Badenoch because she suggested the party had faked its membership numbers.
Nigel Farage warned he will not back down in the row with the Tory leader which erupted when she accused the arch-Brexiteer of "fakery" over claims his party had overtaken the number of Tory members.

In an update today, the Reform leader vowed to set out his next steps in the coming days.
The Clacton MP said: "I will let you know in the next couple of days, but I will not let this rest.
"It's absolutely disgusting that she should accuse us of defrauding the British public, it is quite wrong in every way."

"I've just said I will let you know my course of action in the next couple of days and I will prove that these members are not fake."
But Reform chairman Zia Yusuf was among party figures to suggest Mr Farage could sue Mrs Badenoch.
He gave his X followers two options in a poll asking whether she should be sued for libel.
They were “yes, hold her to account” and “no, she’s irrelevant”.
When asked whether legal action was being considered, a Reform source said that it was.
They added: “The more I read, the worse it gets for Kemi. Not only has she lied and embarrassed herself, but she’s shown a horrific lack of judgement.

“Our membership has surged even more thanks to her ludicrous conspiracy theories.”
Reform said its party, which has five MPs, has now hit 140,000 members paying the ￡25 fee to join.
This is higher than the last known Tory total of 131,680.
Mrs Badenoch on Thursday accused Reform's live online ticker of being "fake" and said Mr Farage "doesn't understand the digital age".
She added: "How do I know for certain the Reform announcement is not true? Because the Conservative Party has gained thousands of new members since the leadership election.
