A TEENAGER is in hospital with 'serious injuries' tonight after a vicious stabbing in Manchester.
A police cordon is in place in the Salford area and enquiries are continuing, Greater Manchester Police confirm.

It comes after two teenagers were left with stabbing wounds in separate knife attacks, in east and north London today.
The first, 17, was seen collapsed outside a sixth form college in a bid to escape his attacker just before midday.
Hours later, a second, 15, was bluelighted to hospital with after he was knifed in the stomach.
In the third known knife attack today, a teenager, 19, has been attacked in Salford, Manchester.
He was rushed to hospital, where police described his injuries in a statement as "serious".
Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers were called to Sefton Road, Salford area at 8.45pm to the reports of a stabbing.
A spokesperson told the Manchester Evening News: "Officers attended and established that a 19 year-old male had been assaulted.
"The victim has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A large police cordon extended down Sefton Road to the junction of Raymond Street tonight and no arrests have been made.
Uniformed police officers were also spotted going door-to-door in the area as an investigation was launched.
