KUALA LUMPUR: Salcon Bhd 's sub-subsidiary Envitech Sdn Bhd has secured a RM19.73mil contract for the proposed construction of an integrated sewerage for a mixed development in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur.

       In a bourse filing, the group said Envitech, which is a 60%-owned subsidiary of Salcon Engineering Bhd, in turn fully owned by Salcon, received the award from Jacobs Engineering Services Sdn Bhd on behalf of 368 Segambut Sdn Bhd and JKG Central Park Sdn Bhd.

       The duration of the contract is for a period of 20 months from the date of commencement on Dec 20, 2021.

       "The Project is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of Salcon Group for the financial years ending 31 December 2022 and 31 December 2023.

       The Project will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholding of the Company," said Salcon.
