Realising he was not there to cause trouble, they gave him a stroke and even fed him cheese and onion crisps.
It is thought he may have legged it after thieves tried to steal him from a nearby allotment, where brother Reggie was still safely locked up.
The pair — New Zealand Kunekunes — are named after East End gangsters the Krays.
While Ronnie was enjoying the attention at the Easington Colliery Club, Co Durham, owner Anthony Berry, 32, was reading about it on social media.
He said: “I saw a pig had wandered into the club and I knew it would be one of mine.

"They’re really friendly.”
Club secretary Stephen Foster, 69, said: “He seemed perfectly at home.
"It sounds like someone tried to steal him.
"They’d better hope he doesn’t squeal.”
